The Hillyfield offers a lot of things to a lot of people - all centered around caring for the land, restoring the ancient woodland, and getting involved.

Please visit us on one of our volunteer weekends or open days or send us an email.

Supporting and Enhancing Biodiversity at The Hillyfield. It's home to badgers, doormice, otters, and owls. We think there was a resident Goshawk for winter 2015/2016.

FORESTRY

As well as a place of very special charm, Hillyfield is a working woodland. The wood which pays Stays... Here Rupert Lane is measuring the girth of trees to calculate how much timber is left standing after the felling of disease timber.

ORGANIC FARMING

ORGANIC FARMING

17acres of organic pasture are grazed by sheep and cattle. We are planning to give a corner of our field over to a community project called 'Wood Land Culture'. Please get in touch if interested.
